"With the intentional use of art-making, people explore personal issues or concerns within a therapeutic relationship"~ Yvonne Kiely

Who Can Use Art Therapy?

ANYONE & EVERYONE can use Art Therapy.

Art Therapy can effectively treat people of all ages. Yvonne's main area of expertise is working in the local Aged Care Community. Yvonne conducts a number of Art Therapy projects within the Mid North Coast Aged Care. She also conducts private sessions in her studio or at the student's location.

Some examples of people who benefit from Art Therapy are:
  • Seniors
  • Dementia
  • Aged Care
  • Alzheimers
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Self-Esteem
  • Bullying
  • Cancer Patients
How Will You Benefit From Art Therapy?

Art Therapy can achieve different things for different people. Yvonne creates a safe and non-judgemental environment for the individual. She encourages the individual to "make their marks" on paper. In turn, through Yvonne's therapeutic processing the individual can resolve and heal unconscious issues.

In a broad sense Art Therapy is used to massage one’s inner-self in a way that may provide the individual with a deeper understanding of him or herself.~ arttherapyblog.com

Do You Need To Be Talented?

Absolutely not. And you need not be “afraid” of expressing yourself through art. Though it may seem different and unnatural at first, with Yvonne's support, you will feel perfectly safe as you express yourself.
